Buxton Poetry Competition 2014 – Now Open!

The theme in 2014 is The Natural World.  You might like to describe a landscape, an event in nature, or perhaps an animal. You could write about something huge or you could focus on something tiny. You could tell us how you engage with nature, or how the natural world affects you, or you could take us on a journey through the natural world. Or if you have a different take on our theme we would like to read that too! We hope this theme will inspire you to think creatively about The Natural World.

Open Poetry — ages 18 and over*

Young People’s Poetry — aged between 12 and 17*

Children’s Poetry — aged up to 11 years old*
