About Donate a Library

The Bord Gáis Energy Book Club want to share this passion for books by donating libraries to community and voluntary organisations nationwide that would benefit from the addition of a library of books of their choice to support their work.

This new programme will be an ongoing and will see Bord Gáis's  Energy Book Club, (Ireland’s largest) , donate a library to a deserving cause three times per year. They are very happy to have supporting them  The Wheel. which is Ireland’s leading support and representative body for community, voluntary and charitable organisations.

How Will it Work?

Throughout the year, individuals and organisation can nomination themselves or a cause they really believe in to receive a donation of a library using the nomination form below.


The library package will consist of:
€1,000worth of
books €500 worth of
shelving and furniture
Expert advice on purchasing books for your library Local support in setting up the library.
