Wirral Festival Of Firsts - Open Poetry Competition 2014
Prizes: £250, £75 and £25,
plus local prize of £25 for poet living in Wirral
Closing date: June 1st 2014
Entry: £4 per poem, 3 for £10
Poems should be in English, up to 40 lines and typed on one side of A4
Your name should not appear on the poem
All poems entered shall be read by our adjudicator
No poet shall win more than one prize
Winners will be advised by 27th June 2014 and invited to attend a prize-giving event at the opening of the Festival Exhibition at The King’s Gap on 4th July.

Send your poem(s) in .doc format (not docx) or pasted into the email to:
Make sure your email includes: your name, full contact details, titles of your poem(s), Paypal receipt number and where you heard about the competition.
Include a separate sheet with your name, full contact details, the title(s) of your poem(s) and where you heard about the competition
If require acknowledgement, enclose a stamped, self-addressed postcard marked ‘receipt’
Please include your entry fee: £4 per poem or £10 for 3 poems. Cheques or Postal Orders to be made payable to “Festival of Firsts”
