Ambit Magazine. Short story & Poetry. Deadline: April 1st.

Welcome to Ambit Magazine and we are glad that you are thinking of submitting your work to us. Please know that we have two submissions periods each year February 1st-April 1st and September 1st-November 1st. We are happy to read stories (up to 5,000 words), poetry (submit 4-6 at a time in one word document) and flash fiction (up to 1,000 words). All work must be original and have not appeared anywhere including websites or blogs. We are also happy to look at artwork.
Please note that we do not accept simultaneous submissions as we've found it leads to heartbreak when our editorial board has discussed something at length only to find it is not available. But we pledge in return to get back to you as soon as possible after you have sent us something.
