IdeasTap Inspires: Writersroom scriptwriting workshop - Deadline: May 30, 2014

An opportunity for IdeasTap members to attend a writing workshop & receive script feedback.



BBC Writersroom are giving 40 aspiring screen, stage and radio writers the opportunity to attend a practical, hands-on workshop at The Lowry, Salford. It will take place on Tuesday 8 July 2014.

The workshop will take place from 2pm to 5pm, with a free lunch being served at 1pm for all attendees.

The workshop will be delivered by Henry R. Swindell, Development Producer for BBC Writersroom.

After the workshop, attendees will be asked to upload scripts, based on their learning at the workshop, by the end of August. All 40 will receive a professional script report on their submitted work by the end of October.

Before applying, please make sure that you are able to attend the workshop in Salford on Tuesday 8 July.

The winners of this brief will be announced on Friday 13 June.

This brief closes on Friday 30 May 2014 at 5pm and is open to IdeasTap members aged 18 and over. Late entries will not be accepted under any circumstances, including technical issues – so make sure you don’t leave your application to the last minute.
