You can enter this competition if you are still 21 (or under) on 14/07/14.
Entry is free for this prize, and you can enter as many stories as you want.
Shortlisted entries will be published in the 2014 anthology.

The Grand Prize (£250)
This is the competition for writers aged 22 and over.
The following concessions apply:
Entry fees are £10 per story for writers who will be aged 22 or over on 14/07/14.
Entry is £5 for writers aged 60 or over on 14/07/14
Entry is £5 for students in full time education or for people who are currently unwaged.
You can enter as many stories as you want.
Shortlisted entries will be published in our 2014 anthology.

The HG Wells Festival Handwriting Prize (£100)
This competition is open to any child of primary-school age attending a Shepway primary school.
Entry is free.
Shortlisted entries will be published in our 2014 anthology.
Please choose one of our themed poems (watch this space…) and handwrite a copy.
Entries are judged not just on the neatness of handwriting, but on creativity and expression when writing the poem out on to paper.

Whichever you choose to enter: good luck, and enjoy the process!
