Bellevue Literary Review’s Marica and Jan Vilcek Prize in Poetry

The BLR welcomes fiction, nonfiction, and poetry broadly and creatively related to our themes of health, healing, illness, the mind, and the body.

General submission guidelines

The annual Bellevue Literary Review Prizes award outstanding writing on these themes. The contest is open each year from February 1 - July 1.

The next contest cycle (for the 2015 prizes) will open on February 1st, 2014. The judges for the 2015 prizes are Chang-Rae Lee, Anne Fadiman, and Major Jackson.
