CIT Flash Fiction Competition 2014 - Deadline: Monday 15 September 2014

CIT’s 2014 flash fiction competition coincides with Northern Lights 2014 and we are looking for stories, in any genre and on any theme, up to 500 words long

The competition will be judged by micro-fiction trailblazer David Gaffney.

The three prize-winners will be notified in early October and then announced at Northern Lights. The winning entries will be published at the CIT website in a new online collection of short fiction. The winners will receive free entry to Northern Lights and one overall winner will receive £50 of book vouchers.

Entry is free and you may enter more than once. Submissions must be emailed, by 5pm on Monday 15th September 2014, to info@creativeindustriestrafford.org

Entries must be entirely the work of the entrant and must never have been previously published or broadcast. All entries will be judged anonymously and entrants must be at least 18 years old on Saturday 25th October 2014.

Participants can also take part in our How to Write Fiction workshop with David Gaffney on Wednesday 4th June.
