Firstwriter Thirteenth International Poetry Competition - Deadline: October 1, 2014

Welcome to firstwriter.com's Thirteenfth International Poetry Competition (details of the winners of previous competitions can be found here). The prize for first place is £200 (over $300). Ten special commendations will also be awarded and all the winners will be published in firstwriter.magazine and receive a subscription voucher to the site worth $36 / £24 / €36!

The contest is open to poems of any style and on any subject, but they must not be longer than 30 lines. The closing date for submissions is October 1, 2014, and there is a reading fee of $4.50 / £3.00 per poem. Alternatively you can enter three poems for just $3.75 / £2.50 each, five poems for only $3.00 / £2.00 each, or ten poems for only $2.25 / £1.50 per poem.
