Horticulture magazine submissions
Horticulture considers unsolicited manuscripts. A general familiarity with what they have published in the past is the best guide to their style, needs and preferences. I would recommend you look at previously published articles.
Non-fiction queries and manuscripts may be submitted electronically (.DOC or .RTF format only), or via regular mail, and must be type-written, double-spaced, and include your full contact information. Manuscripts submitted via regular mail will not be returned, nor will mailed queries be answered, unless they are accompanied by a postage-paid self-addressed return envelope. They say that they will respond within four to eight weeks. N.B They will pay upwards of $500 upon publication.
