Hungry Hill Writing was originally established for writers on the Beara peninsula in Ireland, but their competitions and readership now have an international following, and they welcome contact with anyone who is interested in the kinds of writing that can be found in their Online Anthology. 2014 Poets Meet Painters competition is for poems inspired by works of art exhibited at Mill Cove Gallery or displayed on their website (www.millcovegallery.com).
The judge will be the poet and critic Cherry Smyth, and there will be a prize of €250. The closing date is 1 July 2014.
