Westhope College is excited to announce a new open poetry competition, to be judged by Chris Kinsey, who has been BBC Wildlife Poet-of-the-Year, Oriel Davies Writer-in-Residence and has three collections of poems published: 'Kung Fu Lullabies' and 'Cure for a Crooked Smile' with Ragged Raven Press and 'Swarf' with Smokestack Books.
Prizes: £200, £100, £50, £25
Poets are invited to submit unpublished poems typed in English, on any subject of up to 40 lines. Two copies of each poem required please, plus a sheet with your name & contact details, which will be kept separate.
Entry Fees: £4 for first poem, £2 each for subsequent poems, no limit, payable to “Westhope Charity”
Results night party Wednesday 1st October at Westhope College, Craven Arms, Shropshire SY7 9JL. The winners' will be published on the Westhope website.
