Little Pieces of Gold are calling for 10 min plays on the theme of work. - Deadline: 21st July 2014
Little Pieces of Gold’s next new writing next showcase is at Southwark Playhouse. This time they are looking for ten minutes plays that address the theme of work. You can tackle any aspect of this that you like. Some examples could be life on the treadmill/ the 'rat race'; office politics; the pay gap; gender inequalities; work-life balance; identity through work & career; combining motherhood/fatherhood with work; shifting patterns of work and the need for new skills; lack of work/career opportunities in the current economic climate. The choice is yours. As long as your play addresses the theme in some way. Plays will be cast, rehearsed and staged by the directors on either 7 or 28 September.
For submission details and futher information please visit the Little Pieces of Gold website.
