All entrants will receive a one year subscription to Quiddity.

Contest deadline: June 30, 2014

Submit one prose poem as well as $15. Submit online using Submishmash or by mail (checks payable to Quiddity).
A one year subscription is included with entry fee.
Work should be previously unpublished; simultaneous submissions with immediate notification are fine, but the contest awards only for FNASR, so works accepted elsewhere will be withdrawn from consideration, and please note: the entry fee will not be returned. One prose poem per entry. One entry per person.
All entries must be typed and must include a cover letter with author's name and contact information (address, telephone, and email address) as well as the title and word count of the work submitted. The author’s name or any identifying information should not appear on the manuscript itself.
Judging is blind. Final judges are National Book Award Finalist H.L. Hix, and Joanna Beth Tweedy, Quiddity Founding Editor and author of The Yonder Side of Sass and Texas
Entries that do not meet the guidelines will not be considered.
All entries that meet the guidelines will be considered for publication.
Submit your best unpublished prose poem. In honor of the award’s namesake, we are looking for works of extraordinary quiddity, works that remain with us long after we have encountered them.
Submit here online or mail entry and fee to Quiddity [Mailed submissions should include both an email address and, for reply, a self-addressed, business-size (#10), stamped envelope (SASE)]:
