The Magpie Award for Poetry - Deadlin 15th June 2014

The Magpie Award for Poetry

Pulp Literature is calling for submissions to its inaugural Magpie Poetry Prize.

At Pulp Literature, we have an affinity for poetry, the hard liquor of literature. We like it strong, neat, and we don’t mind if it makes our eyes water. You can order a sample copy on the subscriptions page to read the kind of poetry we have accepted for publication.

Our judges, Vancouver’s first Poet Laureate George McWhirter and Pulp Literature’s own Daniel Cowper, will be looking for a fusion of musicality, imagery, feeling, and thought. May the best poem win!
