The N.J. State Council Arts Fellowships (Poetry category) - up to $12,000 Prize - No Entry Fee


Open to New Jersey residents only, The N.J. State Council is seeking entries for the Poetry category of its annual Arts Fellowships program.

The Council will award a fellowship of between $7,000 and $12,000 to help an experienced poet further his or creative career as well as broaden his or her writing talents.

Judges review applications and samples of work to determine creative distinction and quality of writing. The winning poet may use the funds to assist in developing his or her creative specialty, including buying supplies, attending fee-based workshops and seminars, leasing studio space, and so on.
