The Westhope Charity thrives on Anne Dyer's simple ethos of using craft as the vehicle to 'make other people's lives better'.The College now runs a variety of arts and craft courses from taster sessions to week-long residential courses. This is our first foray into the 'craft of the writer'.
The Competition
Westhope College is excited to announce a new open poetry competition, to be judged by Chris Kinsey.
Chris has been BBC Wildlife Poet-of-the-Year, Oriel Davies Writer-in-Residence and has three collections of poetry published:
'Kung Fu Lullabies' and 'Cure for a Crooked Smile' wothRagged Raven Press and 'Swarf' with Smokestack Books
Closing Date: Midnight Sunday August 1st 2014
Entry Fees: £4 for first poem & £2 per subsequent poem
Results Night: Wednesday 1st October at Westhope College
Prizes: 1st £200, 2nd £100, 3rd £50 and 4th £25
