Writers On Line Crime competition - deadline 13th June 2014



Fancy going on a crime spree? Here’s your chance to handle about as much crime as you want, with our ever popular annual crime story competition

Prize

There is a first prize of £200 for the winning story which will be published in Writing Magazine and in our Competitions Showcase. There is also a runner-up prize of £50 with publication in our Competitions Showcase.

How To Enter:

Fancy going on a crime spree? Here’s your chance to handle about as much crime as you want. All you have to do is write a short story about a crime (or even more than one crime). Your crime of choice can be anything from serial murder to picking a flower in a public park. If it is a crime, it is suitable subject matter for this month’s competition.

You have 1,500-1,700 words in which to write your crime story, and it must be with us for the closing date of 13 June.
