Irish Poet and novelist Dermot Healy dies aged 66

"The bad times were over at last.”

The opening line Dermot Healy’s 1994 novel, A Goat’s Song has a distinct poignancy and a sure sense of irony.

No doubt he'll  be sorely missed by all who were close to him. Especially those in the artistic community in Ballyconnell, Co Sligo. May he rest in peace.
