The Exeter Novel Prize 2014 - 1st prize £500 + trophy.

Creative Writing Matters is proud to announce the 2014 Exeter Novel Prize is now open for submissions. This is for a novel that has never been published in any form including self-published, although the competition is open to all authors whether or not they have been published.

We are delighted that literary agent Broo Doherty has agreed to undertake the final judging again and Exeter Writers has generously donated the First Prize.

The shortlist of six will be posted here on January 1st 2015 and the winner will be announced at an Exeter prize giving the following March. The runners up will each receive £50.

This year we are offering entrants the opportunity to receive a one page report on their submission. See below.
