Mslexia Women's Short Story Competition 2015 #writing #contests

Previously unpublished stories only of up to 2,200 words. Stories must be by women writers.
Mslexia Short Story Competition
Judge: Alison MacLeod
1st Prize: £2,000 plus two optional extras: a week's writing retreat at Newydd Writers’ Centre and a day with a Virago editor
2nd Prize: £500; 3rd Prize: £250
Three other finalists win £100 each.
All winning stories will be published in issue 66 of Mslexia, published in June 2015. CLOSING DATE: 16 March 2015
Entry fee: £10 per story.
