The Short Story: supporting emerging writers with potential.
TSS is now accepting applications for its Young Writers Awards. The first TSS Young Writer will be announced on January 1st 2016.
There will be twelve successful candidates, one chosen each month of 2016.
TSS Young Writers will receive the following:
£50 for a commissioned short story.
Publication on our website.
The opportunity to read their work to an audience in London.
Inclusion in a future TSS anthology.
6 free short story tick-sheet critiques.
Publicity via our website and social media for all future work they do.
In order to apply for the TSS Young Writers Award, you must be under the age of 28 from the date of your application and you must have been previously published in print. The award is international. For further details on how to apply, please click here.
