A call for submissions for AFTER DARK, an exploration of what came before light, and what happens after the lights go out, metaphorical and physical.
Before logos, there was only the endlessly inventive pathos of fear and mysticism. What was imagined was real, what lurked in the dark stalked the mind with talon and claw. We want to know what’s out there that has yet to be illuminated by the glow of rationality.
What lies buried in the conscious beyond the light of language?
What things come out at night that are locked away during the daytime?
Send us flash fiction, creative non-fiction (up to 500 words), poems (up to 20 lines) and comics (up to 1 page) written AFTER DARK.
