10 supplementary prizes of £100 each
The winning and highly commended stories, poems and flash fiction will be published in the Bridport Prize anthology each year.
The winning stories and shortlist will be read by leading London literary agents A.M. Heath with a view to representing writers
The top thirteen eligible stories are submitted to the BBC National Short Story Award (£15,000) and The Sunday Times EFG Private Bank Short Story Award (£30,000)
Remember to delete any identfying marks on your submission before uploading your short story. No amendments or corrections can be made once work has been submitted, nor can entries be substituted. If you later realise you have made a mistake, you may withdraw your submission and re-enter. A further fee would be payable.
Remember that the file name of your uploaded entry MUST BE the title of your short story. If it is untitled, use the first line of your short story
