Limnisa Short Story Competition 2018
Entries on the subject of anything known to man, set in past, present or future, yet somehow involving PLASTIC.
Love it or hate it but use it, insert it however you wish, to make a momentous story told in compelling style.
Good luck- first prize is a week for writing at Limnisa in 2018 or 2019 !
Rules of the competition
Entries to be-in English - unpublished
fiction of up to 1500 words (500 words minimum)
submitted by Sunday midnight 15th April 2018
only one story per person
open to anyone worldwide except for relatives or friends of the judges
sent by email to: email@example.com
as a word document (doc or docx) or PDF in Arial or Times New Roman.
no headers or footers
the title on the first page but not the author's name
accompanied by an email with the author’s full name and email address and the title of the story.
entrance is FREE provided you LIKE our Limnisa Facebook page or FOLLOW us on Twitter, and SHARE the competition page on social media.
ENTRY IS FREE, but for an optional fee of £30 you can be supplied with a professional evaluation of your story.
Judges: These prefer to remain anonymous but will include published authors and publishers’ editors as well as a cross section of general readers.
The judges' verdict will be final.
The winning stories will be announced onwww.limnisa.com, 1st July 2018

1st Prize: one week writer's retreat in 2018 or 2019 at Limnisa, Greece.
All inclusive: full board, 7 nights accommodation in single room, with use of all Limnisa facilities.
OR five online sessions of personal tutoring.
2nd and 3rd Prize:
A free online session of personal tutoring or feedback on written work
or 50 % discount on a writers’ retreat/workshop.
plus 2 Runners up:
25% discount on a writers’ retreat/workshop (see above).
(Prizes are not transferable and are valid only in 2018 and 2019.)
