3 WEEKS LEFT TO ENTER - THE MOTH POETRY PRIZE

 

There are just 3 weeks left to enter The Moth Poetry Prize 2020. Here's what you need to know:



There are twelve prizes in total – one overall prize of €6,000, 3 prizes of €1,000 for each of the other shortlisted poets and a further 8 prizes of €250 for commended poems
Anyone over 16 can enter
The poem can be on any subject, but must be unpublished
There is no line limit
The entry fee is €15 per poem
You can enter as many poems as you like
This year's judge is Nick Laird
The poems are judged anonymously
The closing date is 31 December
The shortlist (of 4) will be announced in March 2021
The shortlisted poems will be published in the spring issue of The Moth
There will be a special prizegiving ceremony at Poetry Ireland in Dublin (or online) in the spring
