We are now open for entries for the 2021 Live Canon prize for a single poem.

Previous winners include Inua Ellams, Tessa Foley, Kirsten Irving, Jon Stone, Andrew McMillan, Lesley Saunders, Ella Duffy, Paul Terence Carney, Sophie Fenella and Aileen La Tourette.

50 long listed poems will be published in our 2021 anthology. 20 poems will be shortlisted, and one overall winner will win £1000.

Please head to our Submittable page for more detailed entry criteria and to submit your entry: https://livecanon.submittable.com/submit

There is an entry fee of £6.50 per poem (less for multiple entries). This goes towards the costs of the competition, and any excess goes towards covering the costs of our competition for children (which doesn't have an entry fee).
